After receiving your online application we will get in touch and gather more information about you, your family, and your home.
We ask questions like: how many bedrooms and beds are available in your home, do you have pets, how many adults and children live in your home, and do you have valid home renters auto insurance.

GATHERING FORMS AND INFORMATION
If you are ready to move forward we will set up an in-person meeting where we will explain everything step by step and leave you with list of forms to fill out including:

Physical Evaluation Form
After you have completed your forms get in touch to set up a follow up home visit with our staff. During the home study visit you can expect:
Home Study - We will ask questions about your family and find out what age children you are best suited to care for.
Collect Paperwork & Documentation
Home Safety Audit
Your paperwork will be submitted. Once your paperwork and background check is approved you will be ready for training. A state worker from the Department of Community Based Services decides on the best fit for foster children and contacts us if they want to place a child.
